Quaint......

......enjoyed taking some time off the beaten track while on our way to Kaikoura. We discovered this little Railway Station at Claverley. It was named after Claverley, Shropshire, in England and means 'an opening in the forest where clover grows'. It opened in 1943 and was closed in 1981 although the right hand railway line is still in use.

Gorgeous day for exploring and enjoying a drive north. Kaikoura looked a picture. As the sun was setting we headed out for a wander and to find some dinner. My extras show:

Sunday......beautiful calm day, pure magic!
