New Hazyland Boy in the making

Today was an exciting day.... 

But it started in a more every-day-like way. Dog walk and then off to work. 

Another dog walk after work... 

-And then I went to a Border Collie breeder, who wants to breed a litter sired by Gollum. Blood tests this last week showed that today was a good day for the first mating. 

So Gollum and Mischa was introduced to each other and fell in love instantly. 10 minutes later we had a tie. 

A tie is a natural phenomenon of dog breeding in which the bulbus glandis of the male's penis swells inside the bitch's vagina. The dogs are virtually locked together for 10 - 20 minutes. So my picture today is Gollum'and Mischa's hindlegs during the tie. 

Mischa comes from the same breeder as Hero and Gollum's mum, Jazz, so it is my old well-known lines, which I love, so if all goes well and this mating results in a little boy puppy, then it will be the next Hazyland Boy.
