Our home....

.....for the last seventeen days, and saying goodbye to it as we leave Portbury Dock, Bristol. In sunshine too, making it a very different journey to the one to get here.

It’s been a wonderful trip, a Baltic cruise to St Petersburg. A totally new adventure for us. We’ve visited eight countries, and met many different and interesting people. We’ve enjoyed fascinating seminars, watched amazing food demonstrations, learnt how to make beautiful cocktail drinks, been wonderfully entertained each evening through dance and song, and ( could have) eaten enough food for a week each day!

I shall begin sharing here. No signal on the ship to post at the time, and the occasional stops in coffee shops in the different ports would have taken away from seeing all that was to seen and enjoyed.

Since then:
15. 10. 19 The washing and ironing is done, the cases put away. We’ve caught up with news from friends and absorbed it and now there’s time to enjoy and share the memories.
