Red Cliffs

We visited Sidmouth this morning - a really attractive seaside town, with a lot of good independent shops (including an independent bookshop, always a plus). It sits within the east Devon section of the Jurassic Coast. On either side sit tall red cliffs of mudstone and sandstone, which give it a real sense of place.

After a good lunch at the Victoria, we headed to Beer, an old fishing village, for a walk along part of the south west coastal path. The extra shows 11 year old Harry, who was enjoying retrieving a stick from the sea. Over and over again.
