Broken teeth...

Last Friday I realised that one of my fillings had cracked. I managed to get an appointment for today, which should have been two simple fillings.

The problem (there's always a problem) was that due to bad NHS dental treatment decades ago, it's come back to bite (excuse the pun) me now. The old mercury filling was down to the gum and a minor cracking in the tooth means that I now need an onlay on that tooth. Just for good measure the lump on my gum is being caused by a dead nerve in another tooth.

In two weeks time I need a new onlay fitted along with a root canal... Yay! :(
