Still More Art

I’ve fallen behind in my posting here, but wanted to share this magnificent statue with you. We enjoyed the superb Museum of Indian Arts and Culture on “Museum Hill” in Santa Fe, which tied together the past and the present beautifully. Photography was not allowed in the museum, but this compelling, larger-than-life statue and several other sculptures on the grounds more than made up for that.

This is “Apache Mountain Spirit Dancer” (1995) by Craig Dan Goseyun, San Carlos Apache. I was drawn by its fierce energy and power, as well as its size. There were several statues of women there as well, and I’ll try to post some in the extras, as well as the back view of this one.

We’re continuing to enjoy our time in New Mexico!
