Straight Up!

A lovely sunny day we set off straight up our local mountain to take in the sun and views. I also wanted to see the 'lights' on the mountain that are solar powered and light up at night. A few months ago when they appeared I thought they were filming again but the local mountain bike fratertnity have built cycle jumps and it's their invention. They now have different colours and it's begining to look like a UFO!  - A future blip!

It's Wide Wednesday with the theme of 'straight up' and I liked the way the clouds in my photo go straight diagonally over the coal tip to the top of the trees. The trees are straight up though!
