Sunset

As forecast it was wet today, so we went to the museum in Lienz which is at an old castle called Schloss Bruck. It’s mainly devoted to the arts especially Albin Egger-Lienz a local artist. I’m not usually a great fan of art, but his work was very varied and I really enjoyed the exhibition. There is a good café so we had some morning tea part way round. By the time we had seen everything the weather had started to clear up, so we went for a walk around the Altstadt (old town) in the late afternoon before heading back west to hopefully go hillwalking in the morning. The blip is the lovely light from the van (taken by S) not long after leaving Lienz. Sadly nowhere to park so the windscreen distorts things somewhat. The extras are a couple of street scenes in Lienz and the view from the museum.
