Ayton Wood Fungi

A beautiful day, so after lunch and after I’d finished my main admin job I decided that I’d go and check out the wood.  I didn’t get very far as the fungi is still growing very profusely this year and there was lots to photograph.  This was the first place I stopped to photograph and I think these are Mycena (Bonnets) and possibly Common as there caps were fairly large.  I think most of what I saw is probably quite common, I’m just not sure I’ve seen it in such profusion before.  I also spotted clumps of a Coral fungus near a holly tree on the edge of the ditch which was very well camouflaged in the grass and leaf litter and I definitely haven’t seen that before.  (Additional photos in extra.)
