The placement of screw holes in the length of aluminium floor-edging we use as a shelf for wee wooden boxes containing non-knife drawer-unfriendly utensils wasn't quite suited to the width of the steel strip required to allow magnets to keep the boxes attached, where glue gun glue and Velcro has failed. Glue gun glue also failed to keep the magnets attached to the boxes, so I might need to get some new magnets with mounting holes.
