Zzzzz - Sleepy Swans

I took this picture on my cycle to work this morning. The Council (the ones who are closing the libraries, shutting the swimming pools, filling our roads with pot holes and creating general mayhem due to 'toadying up' to Tory slash and burn policy, had 3 drain cleaning lorries and 'high viz'd workmen, cleaning the lake. Interesting to see where the budget priorities lie? The swans knew better and decided to 'hop out' and take the opportunity to catch up on their sleep. Perhaps they have been out partying all night at the Leazes Park with their mates and the Canadian Geese !!
