It's my birthday!

I have had a great day. Lots of cards and texts, emails from all around the world. It has been really lovely.

I have been spoilt with gifts and this fantastic chocolate cake. Mark bought it from Patisserie Valerie. I haven't had chocolate for a whole year! Today I have had a slice of the best tasting chocolate cake. It is not a fantastic photo, but the chocolate on the outside was a bit chewy. Inside is was a light soft chocolate sponge with chocolate cream icing!

8 birthdays in the first 9 days of the year, and still have 6 more including Ryvers to come!
