Bread!

Not for me Brexit or rugby.  After slopping through the rain for a swim it was down to Portobello for a whole day of bread making at Breadshare - taking the mystique out of sourdough.  8 of us learning about sourdough starters, flour, 'keeping them mean' and the easy way to making great bread.  Well it was easy today.  We made pizza (eaten at lunchtime), and from left to right, Boronodski, mixed seed cob, cob, walnut and date loaf and walnut cob. getting the seeds and the walnut mixes enrobed in the dough was challenging but they do look, and smell, amazing.  And 2 different types of starter to come home with.  I also bought some flour from Drem and a bread making kit.

A great day, now all I have to do is replicate it at home.

Talking bread is quite exhausting.  A quiet night beckons.

The rain has stopped, the Aussies were beaten and somehow the Brexit saga continues.
