The "Sem Fim"

Took all eight of our guests out on Tiago's Dutch sailing barge this afternoon. Built in 1913, it survived two World Wars in Holland, and was then hauled overland to Portugal, where it's enjoying a calm retirement as a tourist attraction. It's been a beautiful day, with dramatic skies, showers mixed with sunshine, and a few rainbows.

Gratefuls:
- walking to church, which was full and hugely entertaining (still not quite sure what I think about that...)
- seeing Phil's joy at being allowed to steer the boat, though he's almost blind, and the way Capitão Pereira helped him
- good food and conversation at Sem Fim (the restaurant)
