High

It continued to rain today and I was told by The Boss that a stickathon was probably not going to happen. The excitement of the storm yesterday was still lingering from the "White Knuckle" flights that The Bossess had to and from Christchurch to the 10 year old girl that was showering at the swimming pool when lightning hit the building yesterday afternoon. She is fine but did receive a shock it is thought.
The situation in Aus with The Bossses's sister remains unresolved as the fire is still not contained.

There is normally a large beach at this point of the lake and the Marina access will get you very wet feet as it is under water. There was a radio warning today that boat owners should remove their boats from the Marina but a walk past this evening found a large number still there with some poles still above the water.
The Boss was at the Thursday Photo group coffee morning along with 3 Blip visitors, Dups, TeeJay and Teacher Lady. He said it was Wonderful to meet so many Blippers. I would have loved to meet them too but was not allowed into the café (outside would have been fine but a bit chilly) so Big Barks to you all and next time come and ring our doorbell and I will serenade you suitably. I promise!

The sticks, look at the sticks!
