Life through the lens...

Nuthatch

While the “ boys” went off to indoor bowls, Northernlass261 and myself took ourselves down to Cromwell Bottom, to photograph the birds.
A first for A, but I have been many years ago.
It is a lovely nature reserve. Just off the towpath between Brighouse and Elland.
We weren’t disappointed.
Only difficulty is choosing which photo to blip.

For me it had to be the little nuthatch, and I chose this shot because of the way it was turning it’s head.

A lovely walk round the reserve afterwards.
I’m sure we will be back.

Oh and “ the boys” had a good time too.
