Table mountain rose

It's is stinking HOT.

Thank goodness, the gym has air conditioning , and it's working.  Headed home, after PUMP and zumba, to take Mom grocery shopping etc.

The domestic duties, seemed to take all day.  Eish !

My final domestic duty, was to carry buckets of water, from Mom's morning bath, to the three standard roses, still standing.  The extras, are the other rose bush that is currently flowering.  Rose #3 is just going through the motions i.e. it's got a few leaves on it, but no flowers

There used to be 12 - blame their demise on climate change. The continuous drought and extreme heat, followed by "flooding", have taken their toll.

I am not sure, the buckets made a huge, difference to them.

But, it made Mom happy !

At this stage, there aren't water restrictions, but Mom, really can't afford, to water the garden.  And, truth be told, it is so hot, I don't think, it makes, too much difference.  Plus tap water is NOT the same as rain water.
