Bouquet Flower

When we bought our new chicken coop from our Amish neighbor I noticed his fields of flowers and asked about them. He said that he sells them to mass distributors, like wholesale clubs. He said that he couldn't believe that people actually paid for the cut flowers. 
This is a blossom from a cut flower bouquet from Costco. I wonder if they came from his farm.
I used the remote flash and the onboard flash in a focus stack. At first the flash worked just fine remotely, but then it stopped working. Even though I only used the flash a few times on this set of batteries I changed them out (they are rechargables.) The remote flash then started working again. I wonder if I have solved my flash problem.
