Autumn in the city

After taking my recent photos of the autumn colours, I realize that there are so many beautiful photo opportunities living here in the town. This collage is made up of two photos, one taken from my balcony (the golden leaves) with my zoom lens to get closer to a small park. The other I took a double exposure on the leaves and the grass surrounding a tree in my street. 

It is, after all, the way we use our eyes, and powers of observation, that enables us to see  the beauty wherever we are. I thought it wouldn't be possible after living most of my life in the country, but it really is!
