Not So Happy Travels

G was working in the garden this afternoon and as she took out garden waste, a courier pulled up to the house next door.  The courier delivered his package, jumped in his van and drove off.

With the back doors of his van still open.

As he rounded the corner of our street, these 2 suitcases fell out of the van.

G told me and we brought the 2 suitcases into our carport.  We reckoned the driver would have to come back to look for his lost luggage pretty quickly.  But no.  Customer Service is just so difficult.

We checked the labels and saw that the cases (which weighed a tonne) were due to be sent to Potsdam but the label on them gave us the home address of the woman who had sent them - she lives quite nearby.

We gave her a call, and she came round and picked them up.

There has been no sign of the courier.  Who, I think, has earned the AdT Award.
