A New Forest

We packed the car full of stuff that needed to go to recycling centre, including mum’s beloved red coffee maker that definitely died last week. As usual, the place was packed with people, and I wasn’t allowed out because it’s dangerous for poodles there.

They’ve recently opened a big space on the premises where you can leave stuff that is too good to throw away, and the second-hand places in town take turns to come and get it. Great idea!

After that, we went walkies. We found a new path, and mum said Let’s see where it leads. It took us through a new forest where we’ve never been, with jumping rocks, and we ended up right at our car when it started to rain cats and dogs.

My ear is inside out, by the way.
