Who pinched the mountains?

Where am I?

I could be anywhere couldn't I? Actually this photo was taken this afternoon through my lounge window. It should be a view of Clough Head and Great Dodd in the Lake District but the fog stole my view.

It's funny how we often think we don't take things for granted, but then it's gone and we realise how much we miss it. Living in such a beautiful part of the country is a blessing and despite the amazing scenes today created by cloud inversions and drifting mists I'm hoping that tomorrow will see the return of clearer weather and the splendour of the more familiar landscapes.

At least I know that the mountains are not lost to me forever ...
