Tonight’s meal was so good I have to share it!!
Had first meat tonight after 10 days abstinence and it was so good!
After meals with fish and cheese as the animal protein source had minced beef tonight with my vegetables and it was delicious.
The mince was one of the weekend specials at Lidl’s and it was simple cooked with addition of 2 stock cubes and one large onion and a shallot after browning. The vegetables were butternut squash spaghetti and bean sprout in a Lloyd Grossman tomato and roasted garlic sauce, roasted mixed vegetables (onion, baby carrots, peppers, swede and tomato), to motors and boiled beetroot. For sweet it was wonky strawberries, raspberries and stewed apples topped with oat bran and full cream yougart. It was so good and I have enough cooked mince for tommorow
