We may have had an earlier frost, but, if so, I wasn't conscious/vertical to see it; having been doing more than my fair share of dossing of late.

Reckon I'm suffering from AAD = "Advancing Anno Domini." 
However the grass grows, apparently, so long as the temp is ≥ 6˚C which is most of the winter hereabouts.
