Reflections Of Gosford

With a vet appointment later in the afternoon we had time to take a good walk round the estate of Gosford House, including the areas we rarely pass through.
Naturally it rained during our walk, the sky was overcast while we admired autumn colours, the sun appearing while we were in the woods, but there was plenty to see.
In the extra photo are two types of fungus positively thriving (the photo of 61 toadstools following a root line is not included), an elegant iron finial on one of the many bridges (only one survives on this bridge) and an honest estate-made latch on a gate.

And to crown the day, whatever the vet did during Bramble's examination has had a positive effect and the medicine prescribed will surely set her to rights in no time.
