Pumpkin head - AT227

Well here we are, my computer says it's 4.30pm, it's light outside but already little witches and ghosties are whirling around outside with the leaves so we've lit the pumpkin and placed in kitchen window.  But not before I snatched a shot and 'abstracted' it (colourfully) for Ingeborg's brilliant Abstract Thursday challenge.  Thank you, Ingeborg.

The fashion for this year seems to be a small pumpkin head inside a large one.  Well my daughter cut the pumpkin, but she didn't go that far, so this is a double exposure to give something of the same effect.

And the sweets in the bowl on the kitchen table are 3 packs of extremely suspect-looking ghost-and-ghoul shaped confections from the Pound Shop.  Oh what am I doing to the neighbourhood's young teeth? 

Happy Halloween on the day we did NOT leave the European Union.  Will our politicians be haunted by this date for years to come?
