AKA coffee with friends ;-) My cunning plan to introduce Berry to a calm, kind dog was scuppered when my friend arrived for a cuppa sans dog. Ah well. Berry enjoyed meeting a new face but had to be removed when she started believing her new trick of climbing on the sofa would be well received.

A breather outside afterwards and I noticed that, whilst some plants are still convinced it's late summer, others have decided it's definitely time to hunker down. This shrub made a nice show against the stone walls.
