Wild Wednesday ....

.... Autumn collage.

I went absolutely nowhere today!!!  But the weather was fabulous so I didn't mind at all!

And my wildlife didn't mind the beautifully warm sunny day either!  As you can see our Goldfinches have taken on their drab winter coloring. Quite a bit different from their bright summer gold for which they are named.  The chippies are very busy gathering as many nuts and seeds as they can to prepare for their winter hibernation.  And the squirrels are simply being squirrels!

Almost forgot to mention the sunflower!  Strangely enough this beautiful sunflower is growing in the backyard!  It's apparently a late bloomer!
