Bog By Merkel

Merkel Wildlife Sanctuary provides a safe haven for migrating geese and other wildlife. Today I was driving by and stopped in. There was a huge flock of Canada geese in a pond off in the distance and they were incredibly loud. This bog is along the road to the sanctuary. The road goes through some lovely wetlands.
Now to buckle in for the big storms tonight. It is good that the trick or treaters will be done before it passes through.
