The Lozarithm Lens

Abstract Thursday (Thursday 31st October 2019)

Thursday was another cold, wet and grey day so the new shots I took of my cotinus leaves after the previous colourless day again failed to convey what I wanted, but remembering it was Abstract Thursday I manipulated the images until I had a series of Colourful abstracts of which this gouache-ish result was my favourite. With thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the challenge.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Anna Meredith - Paramour (2019)
The last time I linked to Anna Meredith was in 2012, coincidentally also when I'd posted an abstract. Her name has come up a few times recently. She had a piece in the film The Favourite, which I saw a week or so ago, and also provided the soundtrack for the Netflix series Living With Yourself with Paul Rudd and Aisling Bea, which I completed watching on this day. She has also just released her second album, IBS, from which this spectacular single comes.
Stuart Maconie played it on his Freak Zone  show of 28 July which I just caught up with.
