Teml ac ogof

Teml ac ogof ~ A temple and a cave

(Bumdrak -> Taktsang -> Paro)

————— ————— ————— ————— ————— ————— —————

Roedd rhaid i ni ddechrau'n gynnar y bore 'ma - gadawon ni'r wersyllfa ar saith o'r gloch.  Roedden ni eisiau bod yn Taktsang cyn cyrhaeddodd y twristiaid, ond yn anfoddus roedden ni'n rhy hwyr.  Mae Taktsang yn lle arbennig, ond mae'r lle enwog a poblogaidd hefyd ac roedd llawer o dwristaidd yna pan gyrhaeddon ni.  Gwnaethon ni mwynhau'r daith cerdded, roedden ni'n cerdded i lawr trwy gefn gwlad hardd ond roedd e'n dwy awr ar hanner cyn cyrhaeddon ni ar Taktsang.   Ar hanner wedi naw roedd Taktsang yn brysur iawn.

Penderfynodd Nor'dzin doedd hi ddim eisiau cerdded i lawr y grisiau i'r bont ac yn ôl i fyny eto i Taktsang. Roedd hi eisiau cadw ei chryfder i ymweld â'r ogof Machig Labdrön. Felly arhosodd hi i ymarfer pan aeth y gweddill ohonon ni i Taktsang.  Roedden ni ymweld â sawl ystafell, a fy hoff atgof oedd canu ym mhob un - roedd yna ymdeimlad o fod wedi ymarfer yno, ymhlith y twristiaid sibrwd.

Gwnaethon ni ailymuno â Nor'dzin i ginio ac yna gwnaethon  ni dechrau'r dringo i'r ogof Machig Labdrön. Dyma un o'r lleoedd ble gwnaeth Machig Labdrön yn myfyrio pan roedd hi yn Bhutan. Doedd dim twristaidd yn yr ogof Machig Labdrön - mewn gwirionedd roedd yn rhaid i ni ddod o hyd i rywun i ddatgloi'r lle. Arhoson ni yna i ymarfer cyn dechrau ein taith i lawr i Paro.

Roedd taith cerdded hir eto - heb amser stopio ar y caffi hanner ffordd i lawr. Roedden ni'n cwrdd â'r rhai nad oeddent wedi bod yn gwersylla cyn mynd i'r gwesty yn Paro.  Roedden ni wedi blino, ond hapus.

Hon oedd ein noson olaf yn Bhutan - pa mor gyflym y daw pethau i ben.  Cawson ni noson gwych gyda llawer o fwyd, dawnsiau Bhutan, a llawer o ddiolch i'n tywyswyr.

Yfory ... Kathmandu eto.

We had to start early this morning - we left the campsite at seven o'clock. We wanted to be in Taktsang before the tourists arrived, but unfortunately we were too late. Taktsang is a special place, but the place is famous and popular too and there were a lot of tourists there when we arrived. We enjoyed the walk, we walked down through the beautiful countryside but it was two and a half hours before we reached Taktsang. At half past nine Taktsang was very busy.

Nor'dzin decided she didn't want to walk down the steps to the bridge and back up again to Taktsang. She wanted to retain her strength to visit the Machig Labdrön cave. So she stayed to practise when the rest of us went to Taktsang. We visited several rooms, and my favorite memory was singing in each one - there was a sense of having practiced there, among the whispering tourists.

We rejoined Nor'dzin for lunch and then we started the climb to the Machig Labdrön cave. This is one of the places where Machig Labdrön meditated while in Bhutan. There were no tourists at the Machig Labdrön cave - in fact we had to find someone to unlock the place. We stayed there to practice before starting our journey down to Paro.

It was a long walk again - with no time to at the cafe half way down. We met those who hadn't been camping before going to the hotel in Paro. We were tired, but happy.

This was our last night in Bhutan - how quickly things ended. We had a great evening with lots of food, Bhutanese dances, and many thanks to our guides.

Tomorrow ... Kathmandu again.
