Sundown at Meteora

After a long drive from noon till 6-ish in the afternoon thro' the heartland of mainland Greece I reached Meteora with the monasteries built upon rocks that stand out like boulders... or teeth.

My bed I found in a caravan at the camping in the neighbouring village of Kastalaki and sundown I watched from the rocks like these people did too with a view onto the monasteries solitary on the rocks around; a little daring is required to climb and crawl upon those rocks... one monastery in the extra.
