Homeward Bound

Despite the weather a lovely weekend with the ladies. This morning dawned with the sea looking calmer, the wind had dropped and there was this bright light in the sky. Gosh! It is the Sun!! 

Maxine, one of the ladies, (to whom I had given a lift to) and I had a quick walk down to Torre Abbey, although we didn't go inside. As it was such  a nice morning I suggested a detour up to Bovey Tracey, and to NT Parke, a country park on the edge of town,  as Blipper  Gilesey  has a photo exhibition of the People of Dartmoor in the cafe there, and very good it is too!  We then continued on the pretty route back to Barnstaple, meeting heavy rain and flooded roads on route. All in all a great weekend despite the weather :-)
