Souvenir

Our leaving gift from colleagues when we left Baku, this is part of a carving (like a 3D picture) that we have on the wall. It's an Azerbaijani man carrying a fat tailed sheep - the sheep are common all over the place in Azerbaijan - the strangest place I saw them was sitting in the boot (trunk) of a parked taxi (heading for a barbecue I fear).

A colleague left today for her next job in Bangkok - a posting I'm envious of! It always feels a bit sad when people move on, and I get itchy feet again, hence today's blip of a souvenir from our time abroad.

On the plus side it's Friday today so no early start tomorrow (and we can watch 2-3 episodes of the Killing tonight! Playing catch up as we are just finishing series 1 of the Danish series).
