Old Beady eye

A couple of lorikeets dropped by this afternoon and posed in the late evening sun.

For the first time in a long time I was in Sydney for Melbourne cup.  I can report that flowers in the hair seem to be more popular than fascinators and there were a lot of people out in their finery enjoying the day.  Work was strangely quiet.  I won nothing in the office sweeps, but I rarely do so no change there.
