Memories of Autumn
Lie scattered
On the table
While designer
Sits
Awaiting the vision
Searching for an understanding
An awareness of
What they will become
How each piece
Will fit
Meld into a whole
Be transformed
And sitting
Eyes close in contemplation
Awake of a sudden
Within the bounds
Of memoried
Autumn woods
As sleep envelopes
And turns thinker to dreamer
Questing into inspiration
And finally
Into awakened design
