Trinsic Brass

First Wednesday of the month means the Bellingham Music Club. I've been going since I retired in 2005 to the 10:30 am concerts each month that feature local classical musicians and winners of the scholarships the club gives to high school and college music students each year. Today we heard a local brass group featuring three professors from Western Washington University on French horn, trombone and tuba. They played an eclectic mix of music from the Renaissance to contemporary composers. Much fun. On Thursday night they'll perform again as part of the Night Beat series, evening performances of the groups who perform for the club on Wednesday mornings. Shelly and I will be attending.
