Variation on a Theme

Yesterday's blip was a magnolia flower bud. This is a leaf bud. I can't resist all this life bursting out, everything curled up and waiting to explode. This one reminds me of a sailor saluting in an old-fashioned musical comedy, all snappy at attention and ready to tap dance forever.
