Gold for the girls

We headed to the competition venue very early this morning and spent it sat on hard benches. But it was all worth it as the girls placed 1st in the Scottish Gymnastics Group Rhythmic competition. It’s always worth all the hard work, travel and expense when they do so well, although even if they didn’t it would be worth it and I am always proud.

We went to dinner at the Hawksmoor which was lovely, and I had a couple of cheeky cocktails at the recommendation of the waiter.

We travel back tomorrow - our flight is around midday so not too early a start.
