“He died for freedom and honour”
Perhaps not words of consolation for my Grandma and her parents at the first Armistice Day a hundred years ago today  as they remembered their loss of a brother and son.
The "Dead Man's Penny"  is a bronze memorial plaque which was issued as a token of gratitude to the next of kin of those who were killed in WW1. Over a million were issued and were
