Rain and Sleet and Ice and Snow...

...that is how my weather goes.

Dear Diary,

We had a bit of everything yesterday.  This morning it is only 8 F, our coldest morning yet.  This little red leaf, stuck to the breakfast room window, looks like it is desperate to come in from the cold!  We had a gorgeous sunset last night when all was done, the kind we often get in January.  Now that the old maple is gone in front of the house, I got a nice view of it.  (Extra)
