Bunnies

I seem to have forgotten to take any daytime pictures, so here are the bunnies - a little affronted that so much of me is in their home.

Some work this morning as, although it is a public holiday here, it is not in client-land.  Off to the war memorial ceremony, with just the kids (just as well Mr B was so busy as we could only find three poppies).  After last year's well attended centenary extravaganza, we were back this year to the usual suspects: the local council (minus the shooters if it's a good shooting day - it was), two old couples, a nun and family SooB.  We were all warmly welcomed and the kids were roped in to reading out the names of those on the memorial - a bit of a challenge for dyslexic CarbBoy with all those old-fashioned names and the mayor's handwriting to decipher, but they coped well.  There seemed to be sufficient folk who remembered the words to La Marseillaise, always a worry, and we just muttered along, joining in with gusto for the famous bits.

We excused ourselves from the drinks reception, much to the kids' delight - though they managed not to show that until we were safely down the road.

Mr B headed off to London in the afternoon and that, with various bits of work wandering in and out of my icy office, was the day.
