Out With The Old ....

First Blip made using a long overdue New laptop!

A beautiful late Autumn day.  Cold but bright.  A lovely start with a visit to Norfolkdoc and W who have offered a very welcome hand of friendship.  Time to chat over a cuppa and to take a stroll in their interesting garden.  The wildflower meadow definitely has it's winter coat on - as did we all - but the sunbleached seedheads  caught the eye in the light of the low sun.

A catch-up and a bite of lunch with a special friend of very many years then an afternoon of clearing and sorting at the old house.  Came away with a boot full of stuff for charity shops and a load of things for Ruth to pick over when I see her tomorrow.

Very happy with the new laptop so far.   The old one had twice been repaired after a nasty accident at work many years ago but the battery had died, the keyboard was unusable due to a nasty stutter(!) but then the screen entered a pink and green terminal phase.  Reduce, Recycle, Reuse is my mantra normally.  I am not a fan of the throwaway attitude that sometimes leads us to replace but even I know when to admit defeat!
