Escallonia

A beautiful sunny day but bitterly cold.I put two loads of washing out and my hands were so cold I was almost in tears. The Crofter started to chop up the escallonia tree that was blown down so I wrapped myself up well and put on ski gloves and went down to the vegetable garden to help him. I was amazed to see the tree was covered in flowers, so that's the blip for today. We managed to clear a good bit of it but still loads left to do.
