Meeting

Today I had to go into town to attend a meeting led by a very senior member of the University. I don't usually move in such circles (thankfully!) so it was hard to find the room. Even its waiting room was grand, with better quality biscuits than usual to have with coffee. The inner sanctum was lined with large portraits of ancient University worthies, looking down as our group of four was addressed. It went well, which was a relief!
