FlowerFriday: Belle

It is cold dark and wet outside today.  

Yesterday we actually had snow for about an hour, though it was very wet and was never going to settle.  Despite it all, this little campanula is flowering valiantly.  Its been taken with the macro lens so it looks much bigger than it really is.  It is actually no more than 2 cm in across the bloom from petal tip to petal tip.

Today is the 12th anniversary of my Mum's death.  Gone, but very much not forgotten - and missed as much as ever.
