KMF day2, the view from here

A tough start, we finished with 8 in a venue that holds 400. An odd side effect of this is it makes it exceptionally cold
Fortunately I knew the filmmaker who turned up for a Q&A so we were able to fill with a bit of banter.
Then a short lunch break with some friends and into a thankfully full theatre to present the Climb session. Kev Shields story (and he started out as an inspirational human being even before his accident) of the long road back from a serious ankle injury certainly struck a chord!
Even managed show my face in the BT Award and catch up with three lovely blippers. The minute of noise in memory of Andy Pollitt was surprisingly moving, the Punk is no longer in the gym.

The extra is a very very visually striking art installation at the Festival. A solitary tree in a mirror prism, the jarring reality of what is versus what should be.

Philosophy Friday
They say good things come to those who wait
But
Better things come to those who go
Go to the peaks
Go to the waves
Go out on adventures
Go to the back garden
Simply go
