Brilliant

The ophthalmologist said that my corneas are beautifully clear and there are no signs of diabetic complications - the best possible news.  I'll see him again in a year.  I like the industrial look of the refraction machine, which I blip because I got near no flowers today.

It was a busy day for Doug as, In addition to taking me to my appointments, he had to bring his mother to hers.  With any luck he'll be able to stay at home for the weekend.
