Beetles,...

...Beetles and more Beetles and other Volkswagens at the Foundation AutoMuseum Volkswagen in Wolfsburg. I traveled to Germany with Jussi to visit the Agritechnica fair in Hanover, but as Sunday was a "preview" day primarily for the press and trade, we found something else to do instead.

The Foundation AutoMuseum is not nearly as fancy or big as the newer Autostadt (which we visited six years ago) and it seems like even Volkswagen has almost forgotten it. It was founded in the 80's and, even though there are newer cars, it looks like it hasn't changed much since. The collection has all sorts of Beetles from the 1943 model in front here to one of the last built in Mexico 60 years later. There are special versions, unique prototypes of proposed new models, and many of the newer VWs, though not all. Found cars that were relatively similar models to my first two cars.

After the museum we drove to our accommodation near Celle. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed a little walk in the old town of Celle around sunset, see the extra.
