At last .......

....... a dry day!

We did have more rain overnight ....... but today has been dry! Yeah! We even had a few glimpses of sunshine!

This tree at the bottom of the road opposite is in its full Autumn regalia ...... such a lovely sight ...... I managed to get this during one of the brief appearances of the sun ...... it made the leaves glow ...... hope you like it :-)

Mum is still improving ....... she is now rather grumpy ...... definitely a good sign! Fed up with having to keep taking the tablets! :-)

Unfortunately Hubby is now very poorly ..... he has lost his voice ...... he has been to work today .... but it remains to be seen whether he will be back to work on Monday! He won't be if he listens to me ...... was that a pig I just saw fly by? Maybe he will listen this time ....... there is a first time for everything!

The sluice gates in Boston are being left open permanently at the moment to try to bring the water level down ...... so hopefully ..... with a few dryish days forecast ...... the flooding risk will abate!

Thoughts go out to all still under Flood Warnings & those already affected by flooding ...... hope you all stay safe.
